The 2nd Annual Haitian Excellence Gala — Nuit des Ancêtres — was an intimate and breathtaking celebration of culture, talent, and history. Guests arrived to an elegantly decorated venue where displays and banners of Haitian ancestors filled the lobby, allowing attendees to learn a piece of history at every stop. Rich accents of red and blue set the stage for an unforgettable evening that paid tribute to the strength and legacy of our forebears. The air was filled with excitement and ancestral pride as guests gathered once again to celebrate Haitian excellence.

As guests stepped into the elevator to enter the venue, they were greeted by Jean-Jacques Dessalines, the father of the Haitian Revolution — a powerful reminder of the courage and determination that define our heritage.

The Ambience
The evening featured a lineup of captivating performances that carried the spirit of Haiti. Sendy Fortilus opened the night with a soul-stirring rendition of the Haitian National Anthem, followed by Fefe Toussaint, a spoken-word artist who delivered a moving piece dedicated to the ancestors. Kemdillo and Williane then lit up the stage with their incredible performances, electrifying the room and bringing everyone to their feet.
One of the evening’s most memorable moments was the “Ancestors Walk” fashion show, an inspiring and visually stunning tribute that highlighted the creation of the Haitian flag and the enduring beauty of Haitian identity. The night was filled with laughter, applause, and dancing — a joyful celebration that lasted long into the evening and left every guest deeply inspired.
