In the Greater Toronto Area, there is no centralized Haitian organization dedicated to serving both Haitian newcomers and long-standing residents through coordinated, community-based support. There is no single hub where families can access trusted information, referrals, and culturally informed guidance in one place.

As a result, community members, social workers, schools, hospitals, and service providers regularly turn to Haitians of Toronto as a trusted point of contact. Families seek our support when navigating settlement, employment, housing, education, and community services. Professionals reach out to us to help connect Haitian residents to resources in ways that are respectful, informed, and effective.

Haitians of Toronto exists to fill this gap. We do our work with care, accountability, and deep community knowledge, delivering support to the best of our ability with the resources available. Until a permanent, centralized hub exists, we continue to serve as a reliable bridge between the Haitian community and the systems meant to support it.
