On Friday, June 19, the Haitian community and soccer fans across the GTA are invited to come together for an unforgettable Haiti vs Brazil Watch Party at Galaxy Event Space in Pickering.
This is not just a game night. This will be a full community experience bringing together soccer, Haitian pride, music, food, documentary screening, and an important sickle cell awareness campaign.
If you are looking for the place to be on June 19, this is it.
The event will take place at Galaxy Event Space, located at 1211 Kingston Road, Pickering, ON L1V 6M5. The venue is spacious and capable of hosting approximately 700 people, creating the perfect atmosphere for a large community gathering filled with energy, culture, and celebration.
Guests can expect an exciting evening featuring the Haiti vs Brazil match, Haitian food, vendors, music by a DJ, and live community energy that cannot be matched by watching the game at home.
Before the match, the evening will also include a documentary screening featuring exclusive archives and stories connected to Haiti’s national team. This screening will give guests a chance to connect with Haitian soccer history and reflect on the pride, talent, and legacy of our players.
The event will also include a sickle cell awareness campaign in collaboration with the Sickle Cell Association of Ontario. This portion of the evening will help raise awareness about sickle cell disease and its impact on families in our community. Community events should entertain us, but they should also inform us, connect us, and create space for causes that matter.
Another exciting part of the night will be Creole commentary by Radio Caraïbes, bringing the match to life in a way that feels more connected, more energetic, and more authentic for the Haitian community.
Guests can look forward to:
